JCR RIGS Ltd is a company incorporated in Kenya that aim to achieve client satisfaction by providing clean water.

We are driven by the vision 2030 of the Kenyan chapter to provide clean water in every home.

Despite clean water being a basic human need it remains inadequate considering that the natural sources (Rainfall and River) have increasingly become unreliable for the obvious reason of climate changes occasioned mainly by environmental degradation in the region.

Our Services

BOREHOLE DRILLING

The drilling is carried out by using the “Down-The-Hole” (DTH) technology. This system works by using high compressed air built within our drilling rig. The size of the hole can vary depending on the requirement of the client. As the drilling process continuous, geological rock samples are taken at 2 meter intervals. Struck and water rest levels are constantly recorded. This process enables us to estimate the yield of individual aquifers encountered

HYDRO GEOLOGICAL SURVEY

Before borehole drilling it’s very important to conduct a Hydro-geological Survey in your proposed site. Generally groundwater is unequally distributed JCR RIGS KENYA LTD ascertains suitable sites for exploration of significant quantities of groundwater before carrying out any drilling exercise. This ensures the best spot is selected according to the geological data and our clients’ farm plan. We use a combination of geophysical methods to assist in the assessment of geological sub-surface conditions; mostly we use the resistivity method, vertical electrical sounding (V.E.S) and horizontal electrical profiling (H.E.P). The hydro-geological data, maps, graphs and cross-section profiles obtained from the hydro-geological survey are used in determination of important information such as; ground water condition and estimation of drilling depth

PUMP TESTING

Test pumping of boreholes is an important part of the borehole development.Test pumping aims to promote the effcient use of groundwater. The purpose of test pumping is to determine the performance characteristics of a borehole,hydraulic parameters of the Aquifer safe yield and abstraction schedules of boreholes,effective development of the aquifer Contamination & pollution of groundwater.The yield of boreholes is tested on completion of the well developed before the selection of a pumping system.
